Health Program Manager

The Health Program Manager will provide overarching management and direction to the organisations vhealthportal.com/product-category/anti-migraine/ health program and continue to ensure the delivery of the following programs and services:

  • Medical Clinic
  • Social and Emotional Wellbeing Services
  • Health and Lifestyle Change Support Programs
  • Community Home Support Service

The incumbent will have the added responsibility of reviewing the programs current service delivery and developing concepts and ideas that will work toward the further development of the program and generate possible business concepts that will  assist  the programs operational on-costs and contribute to the organisations overarching goal of achieving self-sustainability.

Key duties and responsibilites will include but is not limited to:

  • Providing effective management and supports to all direct reports
  • Review current service delivery and develop key concepts and models that will contribute to the programs contribution to effective service delivery and organsiational sustainability
  • Develop a program marketing plan that aligns with the organsiations and programs strategic goals and objectives
  • Search and populate relevent funding submissions

Key selection criteria includes:

  • Previous experience in health service management and administration
  • Extensive understanding of business management
  • Bachelors degree in health administration or equivalent
  • Possession and/or experience in understanding the medicare benefits schedule
  • Understanding and/or experience in developing and implementing the NDIS policy
  • Demonstrated client centred approach and a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture
